The Aardvark’s Tongue

So the book is at the printers and like many first endeavors there are the usual hiccups. Two low resloution line drawings slipped in so those had to be replaced, plus the cover which is to be black and white was mistakenly set up as four color. The new cover will be uploaded on the Monday after Thanksgiving then it is on to the press. We should be selling books in about three weeks! Happy Thanksgiving.

I was reading today’s schedule for the House of Lords in the U.K. and came across this event:

“Committee of Selection - The Chairman of Committees to move that in accordance with Standing Order 64 a Committee of Selection be appointed to select and propose to the House the names of the members to form each select committee of the House (except the Committee of Selection itself and any committee otherwise provided for by statute or by order of the House) or any other body not being a select committee referred to it by the Chairman of Committees, and the panel of Deputy Chairmen of Committees; and that the following members together with the Chairman of Committees be appointed to the Committee”

Unintentionally very funny creative writing.

Time to go to print. The cover has been decided, the book has been edited, all systems go.

The votes are in (although most of them didn’t come via the blog) and the cover will be an amended Black and White version. The objective is to get the book to print this weekend so we can have the site up and selling in time for the holidays. Wish us luck.
